Sunset Beaches

Stunning backdrops for the

most beautiful Ibiza skies

Whether it’s completing the end to the perfect beach day, or with cocktails in hand as a warm up to the night ahead, no trip to Ibiza is complete without experiencing it’s famous sunset.

Cala Conta

One of the most popular places on the island to watch the sunset, Cala Conta is a beach surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The sandy layered rocks that frame the main beach turn a beautiful orange colour as the sun sets, radiating a glorious light and warmth all us sun worshippers crave. Perfect for snorkelling, the water here is crystal clear, the stuff of which all holiday dreams are made. Overlooking a collection of tiny islands, including Illa Des Bosc, we recommend to explore the smaller coves surrounding the main beach, one is naturist friendly satellite beach with a cute eco chiringuito, and there is even a hidden cave for the more adventurous. One of our favourite ways to experience the sunset is from one of the few restaurants dotted along the coast, two of which are amongst our all time favourites.

Benirras

Nestled amongst pine trees, the long and windy road down to Benirrás beach makes for a pretty drive. Famed for its Sunday night drumming sessions Benirrás has always been popular with those seeking out the spiritual side of Ibiza. It was the obvious location for an anti-war demonstration back in 1991 and ever since has remained a meeting point for peace lovers. Tourists and locals alike flock to Benirrás to enjoy the hypnotic beat of the drums, and the dancing which follows. It does get crowded on a Sunday and so we love to recommend our guided sunset kayak tour, or we can charter you your very own cute Spanish fishing boat, no licence needed so just take a picnic and a bottle and Benirrás is your oyster!

Cap D'es Falco

Tucked away across the Salinas salt plains you'll find Cap Des Falco, with the fantastic Experimental Beach Club. Less of a beach but a popular sunset spot, the restaurant has lots of tables to sit and enjoy the view, and the amazing cocktails, always with the best eclectic mix of music. The planes coming in to land next door at the airport add that little special ibiza buzz.
