Mallorca is known for offering it all with beautiful beaches, chilled out beach clubs, the stunning Tramuntana Mountains, perfect waters for watersports, history and culture in abundance, great shopping in the capital of Palma, not to mention the excellent dining scene; but what you may not know is that Mallorca actually produces an array of local goods.

You’ll find some excellent wines from the island’s wineries which we recently talked about in our edit ‘Mallorca; the secret wine hotspot you need to know about’, the infamous olive oil ‘Oli de Mallorca’, not to mention their very own distillery producing local Gin, plus the infamous herbal liqueur Túnel de Mallorca.

There’s also some excellent Mediterranean furniture makers on the island, local artisan fabric and textiles production, and handcrafted ceramics and tableware, all on offer from some of Mallorca’s wonderful local businesses.
