Are you heading to Mallorca with the kids in tow? Mallorca has an array of activities to keep the kids entertained while on holiday. With so many to choose from it’s difficult to decide which to try, so we’ve narrowed it down to our top 5…


  1. Western Water Park

Treat the family to a day of fun in the sun with a crazy wild west theme. The slides, attractions and high-diving shows are guaranteed to create a memorable family day out and here you’ll find the highest slide in Mallorca.

There’s lots for the kids to to explore including the ever popular Wild River attraction and even a Mini Park for the very little ones.Some of the fast and furious water rides include the 260m Mega Slide and the infamous Big Hole so that’s all ages covered.

When you need to slow down for a bit, you can rest in the colourful gardens, or even chill in the Jacuzzi. There’s eateries on site, from restaurants to snack bars as well as that all important ice-cream parlour.

  1. Jungle Parc – Santa Ponsa

Get ready for some serious forest fun with high-rope courses, monkey swings, bridges and zip-lines, Jungle Parc is a brilliant outdoor adventure day for all ages. There’s a choice of four courses with one just for children in the main park plus ‘Jungle Parc Junior’ if you’ve got little ones between ages 4 to 12.

Jungle Parc is located in nine hectares of forest in Santa Ponsa with courses designed to push your coordination and balance, whilst having lots of fun!

There’s multiple circuits with a total of 100 platforms, and to get you from tree to tree there’s bridges, ropes, vines and lots of zip wires. You’ll be supplied with all the safety-wear you need before you get stuck in, as well as a quick safety demo with the friendly staff.

  1. Go Karting – Xtrem Kart, Marratxi

Xtrem Kart is a brilliant family day out. This spectacular indoor electric go-kart track, has been professionally designed for those  of any age to enjoy. The track’s total circuit area is 2000m2 catering for beginners through to more experienced racers.

All the karts are electric powered to ensure they are ecologically friendly and are equipped with the latest technical performance to give the full extreme experience to drivers of all ages, whilst parents can rest assured that the children’s karts, are limited in speed, so their children can race around in safety. 4. Paddle Boarding – Mallorca SUP Rental Co.

Want to experience the fun to be had Stand Up Paddle Boarding? Of course you do! “SUP” is a great way to explore the picturesque calas and bays of Mallorca, whilst having fun with family and friends.

There’s a ‘Beginner SUP’ tour available which is a fun way to discover paddle boarding, learn some technique and gain a little confidence. The Instructors are always close by to ensure you all feel comfortable, and are of course enjoying yourselves. All equipment is provided, so you just need to arrive with drinking water, shorts and t-shirt, a sun-hat, sun protection, a towel and a change of clothes.

If you’re already a keen Paddle Boarder, ‘SUP’ can also deliver and collect rental ‘SUPs’ wherever you are on the island. So, you can paddle wherever you want, whenever you want.

Or, if you’re new to Paddle Boarding but not keen for a SUP Tour, upon delivery SUP provide a free 15 minute basics lesson, covering balance and paddling to provide you with the basic skills you need to get out on the water.

  1. Escape Rooms – Best Escape Rooms Mallorca

Something for the teens? Escape rooms are a perfect day away from the sun or to keep the kids entertained if the weather is pants. There are three fully-themed Escape Rooms offering a unique and fun experience for you and the kids.

You can either travel to the ancient pyramids of Egypt, and try to solve the Mystery of the Sceptre  of Anubis, or go back to Medieval times to the templar order of Sir Robert Geremus to fight against the troops of the Pope and restore order. You can even enter a Hacker’s apartment to help Interpol and solve all his traps (although this one, not recommended to newbies!)

Whichever room you choose, there are lots of surprises along the way aside from solving mysteries and puzzles, so you’ll need to work together to escape successfully.  Beating the clock takes teamwork, observation, and intuition. This is a super fun game to enjoy with the family, an experience to remember for sure.

The Escape Rooms are suitable for adults and teens from 14 years and above, however children from 8+ can play together with their parents.
