Cala Deia Beach, Deia
One of the few beaches on the west coast of Mallorca, this pretty cove, with its shingle shore and clear blue sea is rugged but very pretty. The restaurants that serve the beach have amazing seafood and the waters are crystal clear for a cooling dip before lunch.
The kids love the rock pools and and the scenic beauty attracts many a painter, setting up their easels for the day to capture the beauty of this spot.

Enjoy Es Verger

This rustic lamb restaurant is set in Puig de Alaro just outside of Alaro. It is a local tradition to walk to the Castell de Alaro at the top of the mountain and then head down in time for lunch. The famous local lamb slow cooked in beer on a wood burning fire is what everyone comes here for.
The road up to the restaurant is quite tricky and not for nervous drivers or passengers, but the scenery surrounding it make it worth while for those who don't want to walk the 90 minutes from the town.

Visit Castell de Alaro

Castell de Alaro is set at the top of the Puig de Alaro and from the top offers stunning 360 vistas of the countryside and sea around Mallorca. From the village of Alaro this walk would take around 2 hours but you can leave your car at the Lamb Restaurant, Es Verger and walk from there, cutting the journey in half.
